Moore, Clayton & Co. ("MCC") was established
in July 1999 by Tony Moore and Sharon Clayton.
The development of MCC followed a successful entrepreneurial foray
by the founders in Los Angeles, where Tony contributed his experience
as a global investment banker, and Sharon contributed her international
experience in strategy, operating and business development. The
combination of these skills resulted in the development of a billion
dollar (revenue run rate) company in the energy sector which was
sold for more than $100 million in 1999.
Tony and Sharon recognized a major gap in the market between strategic
consulting, operations expertise, corporate finance and investment
banking.
It is this need for an integrated solution, which MCC has delivered
so successfully since its inception, creating a strong, balanced
and highly-diversified portfolio of client and investee companies
in the midst of an economic recession. We as entrepreneurs have
experienced the challenges faced by our clients personally and
therefore understand.
